The Jack Kerouac Commemorative is located in Kerouac Park, a part of Lowell National Historical Park. The Commerative features a path where excerpts of Kerouac's work are interspersed among symbols of Roman Catholicism and Buddhism, beliefs that influenced the writer. Dedicated in 1988, Jack Kerouac Park earned an AIA Citation for Excellence in Urban Design in 1990.
