This week's program comes from the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, Montana, the site of Custer's Last Stand (June 25-26 1876). As a Lakota Sioux Indian, Black Elk participated in the battle on the side of the Sioux, Cheyenne, and Arapaho in defeating Custer and his U.S. 7th Cavalry.
