The Willa Cather Pioneer Memorial is located in "Catherland," an historic district in Webster County, Nebraska, honoring the work of the Pulitzer Prize winning author. Six of Willa Cather's novels, as well as many of her short stories, were set in the town of Red Cloud where Cather grew up. The memorial includes Cather's childhood home and other buildings that played a role in her fiction. The memorial was entered into the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
